Hello!
You're celebrating SIX MONTHS WITHOUT SMOKING! CONGRATULATIONS!
Just think of the progress you have made since you decided to quit smoking! You've made it through the toughest steps in the process. All studies of the Quit to Win! Challenge show that participants who get through the first six months of the quitting process have an excellent chance of being non-smokers one year after quitting.
Obviously, the lure of cigarettes has not been completely eliminated, but you know you are able to resist it. Be proud of the determination you've shown so far, and keep it up!
Download this small gift for six months of not smoking. If you wish, display it where you'll see it.

Tip of the month |
What better way to celebrate six months of not smoking than by treating yourself to a special day, just for you. Here's what we suggest:
- Start the day with a few gentle stretches as soon as you get out of bed.
- Take the time to enjoy a breakfast that nourishes both body and soul, beginning with a plate of fresh, colourful fruit.
- Get some fresh air. If it's raining, go out and have fun jumping in puddles! If it's freezing cold, dress warmly and get moving to take the chill off.
- End the day with an outing. What do you feel like? A movie, a hockey game, dinner out, window-shopping, an opera, a massage? The choice is yours: it's YOUR day.

Still getting strong cravings?
A period of intense stress, an evening in the company of smokers, someone who tries to convince you there's no harm in having just one… and the urge to smoke comes back to haunt you.
Yes, it is possible that you'll still have cravings even several months after butting out. If the temptation arises, don't waste half a year of hard-won victory. To avoid being caught by surprise, remind yourself often of the harmful effects of smoking, your initial reasons for quitting and the benefits you now enjoy.
