You have decided to quit smoking and, over the next few weeks you will learn to free yourself of habits associated with smoking. This will be quite a challenge, so to give you a hand; this kit comes to the rescue. As of January 4, get your kit by presenting your registration confirmation at a PJC Jean Coutu branch near you.

Your kit includes:
  • The Horn Test, provided by the Canadian Cancer Society, to help you determine what factors drive you to smoke. This will point out the first priority you should address to quit smoking.
  • A step-by-step guide to help you quit, brochure from Pfizer.
  • An anti-stress glove - it will keep your hands busy, reduce stress when the pressure rises and distract you from your craving to smoke.
  • Two information sheets on Thrive and Habitrol, pharmacological aids from Novartis.
  • A bottle of water - to extinguish the burning desire to smoke and to help your lungs clear out the toxic products of cigarettes.
  • Sugarfree chewing gum - when you’re looking for something to put in your mouth.
