From March 1 to April 11, make a commitment not to smoke for 6 weeks.

Sponsors and Teammates

  1. The person chosen by the participant as a sponsor or teammate must reside in Quebec as of at least December 31, 2011. He or she must know the registrant well and spend time with him or her regularly (e.g., a friend, a work colleague, or a family member).

  2. The role of the sponsor or teammate is to support and encourage the registrant (or provide mutual encouragement) in their efforts to succeed at the Challenge and stop smoking.

  3. For their participation, sponsors or teammates may win one of the sixteen (16) support prizes worth $150. These prizes will be awarded automatically to the sponsors or teammates of the main participants who are announced as winners of the regional prizes.

  4. Sponsors may sponsor or support more than one smoker. They may thus win more than one prize.
