Dear new non-smokers,

When we registered for the Quit to Win! Challenge, we undertook not to smoke for at least the 6 weeks of the Challenge, meaning from March 1 to April 11. Today, the third week of the Challenge begins... We're therefore one step closer to victory. Hooray for us!

How's it going with you? As for me, I have to confess that some days are more difficult than others, but thanks to the support of my sponsor, not to mention the I'm Butting Out e-mails, I'm managing to hang in there. And when I remind myself of why I'm quitting smoking, it helps me even more to stay motivated.

There are exactly 15 805 people in Quebec who are taking up the Challenge this year. In other words, we're far from being alone in our fight against cigarettes. Think about that if you ever feel like giving up!

And to put all the odds in our favor, we have to remember to make use of the resources available to us, especially the website QuitChallenge.ca, on which we can find:

Let's stay strong: let's do it one week at a time and keep on the right road - the road to victory!

To help you stay motivated, try counting! Whether it's the number of minutes, hours or days without smoking, the amount of cigarettes you haven't lit up or how much money you've saved, it will help you see things in a positive light. And to make it even simpler, there are calculators to help you!
