Dear Quit to Win! Challenge participants,

Well, it's done: the 2010 Challenge is over! How are you feeling? Me, I'm proud that I succeeded in not smoking during the 6 weeks the Challenge lasted! It wasn't my first try, but this time I'm really happy with how things went.

If, like me, you succeeded in not smoking during the Challenge, you have something to be proud of: smoking is a habit that's truly hard to break. If you weren't successful in hanging in there, you can still congratulate yourself for trying. Ask yourself why you lit up again and what you can do to be better prepared the next time... which might be the one that works!



One thing's for sure: the fact that the 6 weeks are over doesn't mean it's time to give in! On the contrary, our new challenge is to carry on with our efforts and to stay motivated. To help you in those efforts, you can, among other things:

There were close to 16,000 of us that were part of the same adventure. I'd like to thank you for taking up the Challenge with me, it often kept me from running to the dépanneur to buy myself a pack!

Still getting those cravings? Find what works for you. For me, it's gum. And I should try being more active: I'm sure it couldn't hurt! Walking, doing something with the family, a little cycling...
